Titanium backup and My Backup question

I just rooted my phone and want to do a backup, basically because I will be sending my phone in for manual update at the Samsung Service Center here as it is only via that method is Gingerbread available locally (of course I will unroot before sending it in). My main query is whether there will be a problem in restoring a backup made on 2.2 to a phone on 2.3, and will there be a problem if I use both Titanium and MyBackup Pro to backup and restore both?

restoring with both is pointless. you may have issues. I did from 2.2.1 to 2.3.4
