Titanium Backup - Internal Memory Loss!

K.G.

Lurker
I am still somewhat of a novice when it comes to all things Android. I have run into a major problem and have yet to find a solution.

Apparently, after rooting my Samsung Intercept, I made the big mistake of backing up and then attempting to uninstall "ThinkFree Office" on my device. I then attempted to "Restore" the app within Titanium Backup. Unfortunately I think I did this twice and each time after the "restore" operation was completed, I found that I lost a great deal amount of "Internal Memory". Ultimately I was down to 2MB. So my device obviously is barely operational with this low amount of memory.

Now I am stuck and have no idea how to free this memory up or what even happened. I lost memory during the first restore and then double with the second restore. I have tried everything I can think of but feel I am in under my head. Something is obviously taking up this internal memory. If someone can help or at least guide me in the right direction!

I would suggest downloading a rom and installing it. If you want to stay stock you can likely get a stock rooted rom that will work. If you used titanium to make a backup already you should just need the rom on your SD. If that isn't available a factory reset should do it for you or if you have a backup of your current set up restore the backup.

I've been looking for a custom ROM for the Samsung Intercept but as of now I haven't really identified one that I can confirm works decently. It simply doesn't seem to have the support that other phones do in this regard. It does appear to be a mildly buggy phone to begin with.

I feared that ultimately I would have to revert back to the stock ROM if I couldn't find out what was causing this problem.

When I restored this app that was bundled with the phone, I don't understand where Titanium Backup actually restored it to... and thus where it's taking up space in Internal Memory. To further investigate this, I probably would need a file explorer that is capable of running rooted I guess.
