titanium backup question

It seems like when I backup apps and settings they don't restore like they used to. What is the best settings as far as making backups for Android 4.2.2 on the SGS3

Dont restore any System apps mate, only user (downloaded) apps. Just use the system apps that come with the rom

I don't restore the system apps, the only system app that I try to restore is the email settings app. But it's getting to where even some of my user apps don't restore right

I use titanium backup on my nexus4 without any problems.i just restored an app backup from my transformer to my nexus4 and it worked fine.

On the email app, I have 3 email accounts, that I have to manually put in every time I flash a new rom

are restoring data? Or app+data? And restoration of system files doesn't work very well most time.

Have try tried restoring Accounts?

I just always try to restore just the app data. Not sure what your meaning by restoring accounts, so no

If the email app was preinstalled and you've not downloaded it yourself, even just restoring the data isn't likely to work.

I've never managed to successfully restore system app data on any of my devices.

That would make it a system app. You could try converting it to a user app and making the backup and then when you try to restore do the same thing before the restore.
