Root Titanium Backup schedule problem

doogald

Extreme Android User
Is anybody else having a problem where the latest few versions of Titanium Backup are not running scheduled backups? I first noticed this about two weeks ago or so, and it has persisted acros several updates. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling, etc.

So, am I the only one who schedules backups and hasn't had them run, or is anybody else noticing this as well?

Any fixes for this? I'm having the same issue. If I schedule it for a few minutes away, it works fine, but not more than a few minutes.

I'm having much better luck on Gingerbread ROMs. I also looked in my list of services running and found that I had several apps that add a service that makes no sense (SportsTap was one; My Verizon was another). Removing these apps (I figured that Google searching for scores was just as easy to do as tapping an app, for example) seems to help with this.

However, I filed a few bug reports. He answered me once but I've heard nothing since. I think that getting some app developers to care about low RAM device users such as Eris users is just not happening, at least in some cases.

Anyway, I tend not to have this issue when I run GSB or Condemned Soul's CM7 ROM.
