Root titanium backup start up error

I get the error when i start up ti backup.

"sorry, I could nto acquire root privileges. This app will *not* work! please verify that your rom is rooted and includes busybox and try again."

well i am rooted, using the default/stock rom.

as for busybox goes. i installed busybox from app market.

hmmmm what's the deal?

There's a message for this when you first start the app.
