Titanium Backup warning message

Hi,

I've rooted my Galaxy S2 I9100 running ICS 4.0.3 and am in the process of carrying out nandroid and TB backups before I pop a custom JB rom on, however when I start TB I get the following message:

Warning - System configuration

Your system settings may cause
problems. To correct this, go to
your phone's Settings, then in
"Applications" then in
"Development" and tick the "USB
debugging" checkbox.

I assume the instructions above are slightly misleading "Applications" !!!
but I have USB debugging unchecked

Any idea's how to get rid of his message ?

Thanks in advance

John

Applications -> Development is where the USB Debugging option used to reside pre ICS.

If USB Debugging is turned off, turn it on, reboot and you should be fine.

Thanks for the prompt update, so to confirm do I only need to enable USB Debugging when using TB or should it alway be enabled on a rooted phone ?

It's not essential, but I leave it on all the time. Aside from the TB thing, it allows enhanced communication between Phone & PC via USB.

Because I've got no external SD Card in my phone, if something like this were to happen to me, saving my pics etc wouldn't be an issue because I could just transfer the contents of my internal SD via USB.

It's totally up to you but I would say there's more harm in leaving it off than there is having it on. :)
