Help Titanium Backup

I've not posted up a question in a while, so here goes, a triple whammy, all relating to Titanium Backup :)

1. What are the profiles for? I've tried dabbling with them without much success. I was hoping they would give me the ability to be able to save a list of applications, as when I flash a new rom, there are always about 20-30 that I always flash, certain ones just the app, others app+data. Its a shame you can't seem to do this.

2. I noticed you can restore apps stored within a CWM backup. I've never needed to yet, but I can see why this may come in handy. However, it only looks at the clockworkmod folder on the internal SD card. Is there any way to be able to look at the external sd card?

3. On the TB front screen it shows 3 storage spaces, System ROM, Internal and SD card. Now I know about the last two, but System ROM is reporting 525Mb (86.7 Mb free). This seems a little close to getting full to me. What/where exactly is this System ROM? It doesn't get reported at all in Settings>Storage.

Edit: Should have posted this in All things Root.....Do us a favour Shotty!!!!
