Titanium backup

So I was backing up my apps with titanium backup and my phone reset about half way though it. It is now just stuck at the boot loading screen. Is this supposed to happen? It has been around 30 minutes and nothing changed. I have an lg g vista running android 4.4.2 , about to update to lollipop but not quite yet.

Nope that shouldn't happen.
Make a new backup and delete the old one (if you can get it to boot)
Ok, done. But now when I go to update my phone it says it can't update a rooted phone. I tried unrooting it from supersu and from universal unroot. I am trying to update from android kit kat to android lollipop.

I have done a bit more research and found out I need the stock firmware. I have been searching for a few hours and no luck :/ I hope someone can find it.

Mate tibu should work on a rooted phone no matter what rom.
What are you trying, what's happening?

Yes you will definitely need the stock FW to unroot, especially if you are trying to update the FW to the latest stock (and kernel if you changed that too), unless you want to risk an expensive paperweight. But wouldn't you like to keep root? Why not just flash a new rooted Lollipop ROM?

The only problem is that I can't find a rom anywhere. So.... I am not sure what to do.

Well I was trying once again to update my phone but now it seems to be stuck in fastboot mode. Even when i turn it off and back on it goes into fastboot mode. I have tried runing "fastboot reboot" but even that won't work.

Hmm, I've been looking around and I can't see that the bootloader was ever unlocked? I don't think there has even been any custom ROMs made for it and no XDA page. Is it definitely not a stock ROM?
Stuck in fastboot, have you tried a battery pull?
