Hello...
So, I've been moving various apps to my SD card. Most "permitted" by the app dev and a few "forced" using Titanium with apps that I have tested/feel comfortable force-moving to the SD card.
Well, this evening I received the following message using Titanium attempting to move an app ("permitted" by the way) to my SD card:
Problem is, however, I'm running GINGERBREAD 2.3.3 (rooted stock ROM)!!??
So...um...ah...what is going on here?? Is this a limitation in Gingerbread as well and Titanium is simply only referring to 2.2/Froyo with the message when it equally applies to 2.3.3?? Or am I supposed to have a bit more flexibility??
I checked the Titanium Backup wiki troubleshooting section and found no reference to this issue. There was a discussion about the inability to move apps to the SD and a command line failure error but NO reference to the message I received above.
After trying to move the app using Titanium, I backed out of that and went to the simple "App 2 SD Free" app I have installed on my phone. I confirmed that, indeed, I had 123 apps on my SD card. The app I tried to move in Titanium was listed as capable of being moved....so I tried in and VOILA...IT WORKED!! I now have "124 apps" on my SD card...no error, no problems...
Any idea why I am getting this "froyo" message with Titanium on my 2.3.3 phone??
THANKS!!
