Tmobile Issues (specifically Data 1/29)

Still not working here in Phoenix for me. Customer service said there was a tower down in my area. From reading here about all the people around the US affected, this must be one big azz tower :)
 
Same thing happened to me this morning in NoVA. Called TMo, they said everything was good on their end. Came back on about noon EST.

T-Mobile handles the G1, MyTouch, Cliq, and Behold 2 without problems. Neither of these phones are really more data intensive than the others, so therefore your point is invalid.
 
I agree with g_patrick15. I've used Tmobile for years without issue. I have friends and family that have other data-intensive phones (myTouch 3G, etc.) that have no network related issues whatsoever.

I didn't mean it like the Nexus is more data intensive than others. I meant it as a lot more people will be buying the nexus than anything else right now and in return will crash t-mobiles network because of the overload of data. It has happened before and it can happen again. It is a fact that for one T-Mobile has even spottier 3G coverage than AT&T, two T-Mobile's data network is not up to date and as reliable as Verizons and two advantages of CDMA and GSM is that CDMA will give you more reliable data use since it allows multiplexing and GSM does not.

Iphone users in large cities where there are more iphone users than in others experience data loss, stability issues with data and network, same will T-Mobile.

Wrong. First off T-Mobiles 3G data network is newer, faster and better than verizons, it also is UMTS which uses a cdma air interface. Sorry but UMTS/HSPA > CDMA2000. Second, spotty coverage =/= shitty network, I'm tired of people thinking this, it makes you sound uneducated. As for the last part, all those major citys have UMTS again cdma based, the backhaul network is what is the trouble with at&t not the air interface/chosen tech.

Really? That's your logic? The fact that Google is issuing a software patch for Android 2.1 doesn't factor into your thought process?

whats up fated?? haven't heard from you in a while. any more news from your reps as to anything on the horizon in the next few months?
 
I know the one thing that would keep me from getting an Android device on a network like Verizon would be the fact of not being able to use the web features while on the phone. Totally kills the reason for having a phone with that capability.

...other than that i'd happily welcome Verizon if they could offer the same features at roughly the same price.
