So, my computer is super updated and my dad won't upgrade, which means my phone will not connect in sub debugging mode. That means no preschooler or anything with a pc. I have tried framaroot and z4 root, but all of them crash, I re open the app, it crashes again, and so on. I really want to get more space and use link2sd and get more space out of this blasted device. Any ideas or roots you know of? David

Hello and welcome to the forums. You can do this 3ways . first way would be to goto rent a center a rent a laptop for about a month . 2nd would be to use the library PC to perform the root. Or try this which is no PC needed
