Root [TMobile] [Recovery][2nd init]CWM Touch v6.0.3.1

Hello everyone,

I have finally found a working CWM that will work just fine for our device.

Issues:
I have not tested everything yet so be careful and report back!
Do not do a regular "backup" and "restore" you will get an Error.
Do not reboot recovery in advance menu
The recovery will not stick!
You can only access recovery from within the app.

What's Working:
Touch (it is vary sensitive)
You can use volume up and down and back if you don't like the touch
reboot system now
backup to external sdcard
restore from external sdcard
install zip from sdcard (both internal and external sd card works)
wipe data/factory reset
wipe cache partition
fix permissions work fine

Most things are working fine. I have tested myself. Use at your own risk! Please report feedback! I've also contacted another developer about getting the recovery to stick. We will wait and see.

DO NOT FLASH STOCK ROOTED ROM BY ME! CAUSE YOU MAY BRICK YOUR DEVICE! STILL HAVE NOT TESTED YET!

How to install:
Make sure you have unknown sources and USB debugging checked first!
Download Recovery.apk
Run and install the apk like a regular app
Click on "Recovery apply"
Then click on "REBOOT"
You will see CWM at the bottom of the screen
(Don't panic)
Use the volume up or down and it will not glitch out anymore.

Reference Thread:
I take no credit for this app! All credit is due from this thread!
I found the apk from this forum:

I downloaded this recovery, but for some reason the app won't request SU permission even though the phone is rooted and other apps get permission fine, according to the superuser logs.

edit: Turns out I needed to update the superuser app for some reason. The recovery is installed, but now I have other issues...

Now that I've got the recovery working, I'm trying to install this "rom" because they claim Wi-Fi tether works and I haven't had any luck getting that working even with root.

Anyway, my problem is that the recovery can't see the backup files. It says "Couldn't open directory. No files found." I think the recovery may be looking in /sdcard for backups, which is really the internal storage. For some reason /sdcard won't mount in the recovery, so the error messages makes sense if it's trying to look there.

/external_sd, the real SD card, mounts fine and I can see it's contents if I try to "install zip from SD card" but this ROM isn't in a ZIP format, so... I'm stuck.

edit2: Backup to the SD card (/external_sd) works. Looks like cgigate is correct, restore is just broken for some reason.

edit3: The recovery expected the backup files to be in clockworkmod/backup while the file I downloaded just had them inside the clockworkmod folder, with no backup folder. I moved the files and restore completed successfully.

Can somebody post the "Recovery Install for Dummies" instructions for us not-so-technical types ?
Thanks in advance.
