Root [TMobile] TWRP blinking

I am having a problem with TWRP, when I turn off my phone and and put it in recovery mode by pressing the volume up and power and home button at the same time the TWRP logo comes up and it starts flashing and never enters the TWRP menu. It I have to take out the battery and put it back in to reboot my Galaxy s 5. how can I resolve this issue?

place it in you're SD card I'd use clockworkmod to flash it if you want to be on twrp that's what i did
