To get an edge, or to wait for the Note 5?

Currently I have the Note 3. I've had it since January of last year, and I love it. I love the idea of the note edge, but I keep hearing how gimmicky it is. The note 5 is coming out in September, so I'm wondering if I should wait for that? I've also read rumors that the Note 5 will have an edge/or dual edge screen [rumor]. How true is this? I'm honestly not one of those people who tries to keep up with technological fads (I still have my transformer prime from 3-4 years ago lol), but the Note Edge looks so cool. Is it worth the 150 dollar premium? I ask because I don't do contracted prices. I pay cash.

Thanks

If my opinion is worth anything it's not gimmicky at all. You can put so much on it like shortcuts, folders and heaps of stuff. Very handy! More and more apps are being released as well.

I have the NOTE4 & kinda wish I'd waited for the NOTE EDGE,but,I'm happy w/the NOTE4.
One consideration is the overall size of the phone:
The width measures at 3.24",a full 1/4" wider than the NOTE4.
I'd just sold a phone that was 3.25"wide & that was the one thing that I didn't like,it was just a bit wide for my preferences,so,I was torn between the functionality of the EDGE & the more appealing feel-in-hand of the NOTE4.
Try one out in the store & see if the feel-in-hand is cool.
Considering the current design trends from SAMSUNG,this may be the one & only one-edged model offered,so,if you're interested,it may be time to decide before supply could possibly start to become scarce.

I think I want to wait for the Note 5. Isn't there a strong possibility they're releasing the Note 5 with an edge version? The Note 4 just went on sale at TMobile, making it basically 200 dollars cheaper than the Edge. It's really hard for me to justify that for a panel screen on the side. Right now anyway...

Buying or not buying is always like this. There is always a new phone coming along. The question for me is always 'how much do I need/want a new phone now.'

I heard - rumor that IF there is a Edge II - it will be even more expensive than the current Note Edge I was going to wait - but decided not to. My 2 cents
