To remove metro start up sound

The metro start up sound is in the directory /system/sounds/power under Metropcs_PowerOn.mp3. all you have to do is rename it and you never have to hear that sound again. you can even replace it with something else but make sure you name it the same.

LOL I noticed that in that directory, there is also a file called VZW_PowerOff.ogg which is clearly a file that got ported over from the LG Revolution on Verizon (VZW = Verizon Wireless). Talk about lazy

Make sure it says monted as r/w on top. If it does then hold your finger on file and select rename

If it says mounted as r/o then click on "mount r/w"

Make sure you are rooted this will not work without root
