To root or not to root?

I'm deciding whether I should root my phone or not...what are the benefits/risks with rooting?

There are many threads on this already, and if you are going to root, you need to spend some time reading these many threads to make sure you know what you are doing.

That being said, rooting is different for everyone. I rooted only so could use Wireless Tether, but now i flash different roms every few days to give my phone a new look.

If you really want to root then you need to learn to fish. Now's a good time. Search and read up. See if there's a rooting subforum for your device.
