Help To S6 or not S6?

I currently have a Samsung S4 for which my 2-year contract runs out in 2 weeks. I was looking forward to the S6 Edge but was disappointed with the lack of micro SD, nonremovable battery, and small capacity of the battery. Compared to the S6, the G4 and HTC M9 have inferior processor. The S6 Active had great potential, but the availability of only 32 gb storage is impractical.

I have no need to run out and get a new phone. I could wait until September or even next year if I had to. Is there anything in the pipeline that may be better than the current offerings (namely, S6 or S6 Edge)? Is there anything expected to come out in 2015 that will rival or exceed S6 in terms of performance but is expected to have similar/better storage and battery capacity?

There will doubtless be more powerful phones towards the end of the year. Whether raw processor power matters at this level is a different question.

But yeah, don't spend your money now if there isn't anything that appeals.

OnePlus 2 should be out later in the year (allegedly 4gb ram, 810 soc, 3300mah battery) and should be a good bit cheaper than the classic flagships.
Right now if money was no object I'd go for the G4
