To sideload ICS or not to sideload...

I really want put ICS on to my DRM with the sideload method. I watched the video and it seems pretty simple and painless as long as you follow him exactly. I've just NEVER done anything like this to my phone before so I'm a big chicken and scared I'll somehow manage to fudge it up and ruin my phone.

I did mine last night. It really was a simple process. I have a 2nd Razr in the family that I am trying to hold out on just to see how long it really takes for the OTA to arrive.

Same here, I did it last night as well. Was tired of waiting but it is a really simple process. Just follow the video and it works perfectly.

ditto. follow video. read instructions 3x before doing it for real. If the rollout lasts several weeks, I just didn't want to be one of the last.

I did it last week and a friend of mine did it today. Very easy and a quick way to eat Ice Cream Sandwich...

Follow the video exactly and you won't have any problems. Only problem I had was I didn't listen to him saying phone was suppose to be locked in ap fastboot. Once I realized my error it went flawlessly. Have only had it for 24 hours so far and ready to do it to another Maxx in a couple days. :-)

Wait..? Yours was unlocked??

No. When you go into ap fastboot it says locked. Well for whatever reason when watching the video I kept skipping over that it is supposed to be locked so I thought I was screwed from the start. But after rewatching the video I saw that its supposed to be locked and in the event its unlocked then needed to email them before going any further.
