Today's Battery Usage...Still Made it Home

Today was the lowest I've gotten the battery since purchasing it after about 2 months. Here's a quick summary:

Took it off the charger at 6 am in the hotel room.
Checked work and personal emails throughout the day; probably 40-50 emails.
Text'd throughout the day; probably about 50-60 texts.
Used Maps for about 30 minutes or so.
Used Navigation for about 30 minutes or so.
Made phone calls totaling about 4 hours of talk time.
Used web browser throughout the day; probably an hour.
Streamed music during my drives on the highway to clients and the long drive home; about 3.5-4 hours.
Got home at 8 pm....10% battery left.

Very impressed and I love this battery life; knowing that I can pretty much do anything throughout a normal day and it survive until I get home (barring a full-length movie maybe).

That would be even better and maybe possible with some tweaking. Regardless, it's soo much better than my Galaxy Nexus. That thing couldn't make it to lunch time before needing to be thrown on a charger.

How much do you have the brightness cranked up? What was your screen on time at the end of the day? It sounds to me like your screen on time was only like 2 hours. That is not that big of a deal.

By all means share your battery life as well? For some people, a lot of usage in certain manners would certainly drop a battery well faster than what the G2 has. 14+ hours, with plenty of streaming, navigation, 4 hours of calls, and a few hours of screen on, regardless of brightness, out of a phone on a standard battery, without an extra battery or charger, and that's not to say what kind of service or anything that might also have affected it, isn't shabby by any means.

Well i removed the phone off the charger at 7:00 in the morning. Got a total of 4:00 hours on screen time at 40% brightness for most of the day. I talked on the phone for about an hour. Watched videos on YouTube. Took a few pictures and videos (i had a small gathering). I did not play any games or used the GPS. Most of my on screen time was twitter and chrome browsing. I listened for about three hours of a podcast/music in the morning. It is 9:19 pm. At the time i am writing this on my phone and i still have 16% battery life left.

The only reason why i was never that impressed by the LG G2 battery is because i got spoiled by the LG Optimus F3 battery life. The F3 battery was about 30-40% better than the LG G2. I have never seen a smartphone with a better battery life.

Granted, it is kind of unfair because the screen on the F3 is only 4 inches and less resolution. The battery on the F3 is 2450 mah as opposed to the 3000 mah. I loved both phones.

For me I take the phone off the charger at 6 am. I usually Listen to tunein radio for about 2-3hrs then I usually switch to listening to mp3s for 2-3 hrs. I do a little texting and emailing, a few calls. By time I get home from work after 8 hrs I am usually around 55-50% by time I go to bed at 10 pm I'm usually around 35-30%. I'm also running on a pretty good 4g signal. until I get home and switch to wifi.

It just depends on so many things. Suffice to say, we can all get through a day. More than the Note 3 guys can say.

That is awesome battery life for how you used it and what you needed it for that day and it will be just as great any other day and way you use it.

I feel this phone should more popular to the masses but they are stuck on Samsung and Apple now. Not saying Samsung doesn't make a good phone. I had my hesitations about it when I was getting this phone. Now? I love it. Coming from a Nexus I even like LG's UI.
