toggle bar?

I did a quick search before posting this but to be honest i dont even know what to look for. On my home screen if i swipe to the left i see a toggle bar that (from left to right) has the option to turn on/off wifi, bluetooth, and then three other things (the last one is a brightness setting, but dont know how it works). No idea what the other two are. any help?

the one in the middle turns gps on/off
the one to the right of gps turns data sync on/off
the brightness i believe toggles /auto/brightness all the way zero/half brightness/full brightness

GPS then Sync.

Sync toggles whether it updates with Google and things like that.
