Toggle between videos on browser

Hi,
I have been REALLY missing this experience on my android phone. On my pc I would open a tab and let the video to buffer and continue working. Once the video is completely buffered I would go to that tab and watch it. Or sometimes I just toggle between several videos.

On android the video tab needs to be the ACTIVE tab to keep buffering it. If I minimize it or go to another tab, the video would just stop playing. I HATE it.

Also sometimes I just like to have a video play in the background and listen to it while I work on something else.

I want to get these utilities. Please HELP!
Thanks,
p.s.: Why don't they just build this as the default? Why do I have to do the extra work for something as simple and intuitive as that? :X

What Developers have to achieve is an optimum peak of usability combined and they have the ability to determine where extra code which enables features that will cause a detrimental effect on system resources considering the majority of users use the program to actually watch the videos.

It's intuitive when people expect a video program to watch videos, and it's also intuitive when people expect a music player to play in the background while they do other tasks on their Android device, hence it reliably playing in the background even when not in the main focus.

I'm sure they are aware of the population of youtube watchers who also like to let music videos play and act as their music player, but the main focus wouldn't be enabling the youtube to eat more resources considering watching videos already eats alot of battery, as well as optimising the program so it doesn't intrude and eat up even more system resources by enabling it to play in the background.
