Question is who will be using it? Apparently it won't work on all devices but tomtom are working on it. Going by the specs it should run on the trusty dhd as it has a 800x480 screen. But looking at the price I think it will put people off (

For car navigation I have used, like most of us I am sure, both a phone based Sat-Nav and a dedicated device (Garmin). The dedicated device gets my vote every time.

At 49 GBP purely for software I believe most peoples money is best put toward some Sat-nav hardware.

Isn't Tomtom the supplier of the mapping software on the iPhone 5 debacle. Hard to believe that Apple could take a working product and screw it all up. Surely Tomtom must have played a part there???

I think TT have been called in to fix things. I believe they were as owners of Teleatlas just the major supplier of the maps. This all boils down to the insanity of the dead Steve Jobs who hated google and this is why they removed google maps from the new iOS while implementing their joke of a software.

I use sygic and have tried most others and it seems the best app to use.

I've tried a couple myself. Have tried Sygic and Navigon and they work well but CoPilot does it for me. Google navigation isn't bad but the area cache option never seems to work for me.
