Too Many Notifications on Google Voice

Sorry if this is a dumb question, but does anyone know if you can set Google Voice Lite on my droid to not send so many notifications. I love the program, but when someone leaves a message, I get a text, email, and the google voice icon all in the notification bar.

I am using my old verizon cell number and just using the google voice for the messaging function.

I just would want the google voice icon to light up and then i can go right to the program.

go into google voice, hit the menu button, go to 'refresh and notification, and you can select the settings you want. I don't think you can change the e-mail setting from the phone, but you definitely can from the google voice website.
