Root [TOOL][ALPHA] ZTE Max Unbrick Tool [NEED TESTERS!!!]

Should I try the unbrick tool again. I can't even access my sd card
And try to update.
It reads can't mount to ext sd
I have the unbrick tool on a cd so I should go ahead try the unbrick too
How can I send a file so I can get a hand. Thanks all for helping.
 
I can not get into dfu or recovery also I can get into ftm mode but can not connect to adb says device not found and I have developers options and usb debugging .. help
 
Also I made the bootable disc of the tool I'm running the tool and I just I'm constantly getting device not detected device not detected I get the same thing in the adb shell

You must be in DFU mode to use the tool. No other mode will work.

nope made usb stick rebooted my pc into the desktop ran the tool it said device not connected
the tool will then exit and I try it in another mode still nothing when it boots to the home screen in windows it will open the folder to the sd card but adb still not connect in the Linux desktop with the tool it will not connect to it at all and I have usb debugging on in developers options and am really trying to connect to it since it is not mine
and yeah I might of been in dfu but there was still no connection even when I did adb devices still nothing showed up
 
I was able to fix my ohone. After the unbrick tool. I was flashing 4.4.2. Partition and 4.4.2. Roms it was not working so i flashed the 4.1.2. Recovery and 4.1.2. Roms and that fixed the issue.my phone is no longer bricked.
 
SuperR thank you for your work on this project I made it into dfu ran tool said was unbricked the phone now boots to philz recovery and says r: cant mount /cache/recovery/command and there is a small list of cant opens all from cache I tell it to clear cash it stays on that screen forever I feel I have made progress though :)

Don't worry about the cache errors. Wipe data and flash a ROM and you should be good.
 
Once again you are right flash the ROM slap some gapps on it boom works beautifully man thank you even though I'm sure one thank you is not enough what you have helped me with
 
I am using aicp 5.2.2 on my zte zmax and would like to get something similar on the boost max anyone know if there is such a rom?

I have successfully gotten the the linux home screen but get "Device not detected" when entering the prompts. My problem is that this phone is stuck in recovery mode. I cannot get the phone into DFU mode. I have tried volup/down + power and get no results.

This tool will only work in DFU mode.
 
I did everything the way it says to do it says your device is not detected i cant find a way around it and yes i am in the right mode.

For Boost Mobile ZTE Max N9520 only.

This is the ZTE Max Unbrick Tool

Download stormer_test_unbrick.iso

Use your favorite burning software to burn the iso image to cd. I like ImgBurn for windows because it is free, easy, and effective. Once the cd is burned, put it in your pc and reboot. Enter into your pc bios and change the boot order to making the cd drive the first to boot. Normally to get into pc bios, you need to press one of the following: del, f2, f10, or f12. It depends on the pc but it is normally right after the pc starts and it will say on the screen which one to press.

Once you get it booted on your pc, put your device in DFU mode (hold both volume buttons along with power). Plug in your device, click the green android icon on the desktop, press ok or enter on the password prompt, type "stormer" which is the codename for your device (you will see a chart) and press enter. Confirm with "y" then press enter, and wait.

Personally I make bootable usb flash drives instead of cd's. There is a program called Unetbootin that makes the process very easy.

please help me someone i boot the cd after a small countdown it auto boots
and i get a Login and password screen ??? what is the login and password to get in???
