Tools app or widget question...

Newbie
I have a verizon LG G2. I have an app or maybe it is a widget, called tools. It can have numerous apps within it so you can just tap it to expand and then there is a bunch of apps in it that you can tap to open.
My coworker has the same phone, but we cannot find this gadget to have it put on his homescreen. Can someone tell me what it is called and how to get to it?
I think it came on my phone but there is always the possability that it came with something I downloaded.

Girolez,
it is not anything like the app in the link you posted. It is just called "tools" as a title to the icon on my screen.
It's icon just shows the square with 4 small icons inside it, the 4 icons are the first 4 apps that I have stored in it.
It is kind of like a custom widgetsoid, only I did not "build it", it was just there.

when I tap it, it opens and says tools at the top. It also shows apps in it that I have customized. Tools has a drop down arrow, when I click it, it says folder name, and allows me to change the background color. So maybe it is some sort of "folder" and I am confusing everyone by calling it an app or widget.
Once tapped, there is also a + sign, if I click that it goes to "select apps to add", so it can be customized, and shows a list of my apps.

Sure sounds like a folder. Drag an icon onto another icon and it creates a folder.

* Looked again. I have a Tools folder in the stock launcher.

bberryhill, I believe you are right. Upon start up of my phone there was a folder called "Tools". Tools just holds the simple apps for your phone like the calculator. If the other person doesn't have this, you can make it. Just drag and drop the appropriate apps on top of each other either in the "apps" view or on the homescreen and rename it tools.
