I was wondering what would everyone's top 5-10 most productive widgets or apps that you would have to have no matter what! There are certain widgets thta i just love and help me get thru the day so i was wondering what other people where to compare!
Here are mine:

1. HTC Weather and Clock Widget
2. Tech Buzz Widget
3. Better Cut with Android 2.0 Icons
4. Sticky Memo Widget
5. FX Camera
6. Pandora Widget

:)

My Top 5

1. QuickSettings
2. PureCalendar (Agenda) [WIDGET]
3. Handcent SMS
4. TubeDroid
5. WiFi Tether for Rooted Users

Extended:

6. AdFree
7. SetCPU
8. Superuser Permissions
9. Movies by Flixter
10. Pandora
11. Nesoid / SNesoid / GBCoid / Gameboid / Gensoid emulators
12. USA TODAY
13. Live Scores
14. Google Listen
15. DocumentsToGo

1. GDocs + ShapeWriter + Inserty
2. Quick Settings
3. CalWidget + Calendar Pad
4. Pandora, Slacker Radio
5. ASTRO
6. List Master

Android Phone: Sprint HTC Hero
Note: I'm not going to include any Sense UI specific items since there are so many great additions, but not everyone gets to use them.

1) Apps Organizer with 'All Labels' on my homescreen. I wish I could set Apps Organizer to replace the native All Programs apps tray.
2) Android Agenda Widget (Note: latest Development Version supports multiple widgets with different calendars)
3) REMOVED***REMOVED*** REMOVED (gTasks)
4) ASTRO File Manager
5) SMS Popup.
6) AudioManager Widget (small)
7) Google Listen.
8) DroidLive Lite to listen to the National Weather Service Feeds.
9) KeePassDroid combined with using KeePass version 1 on my desktop since I can just copy the password file back and forth.
10) Pandora Widget (Note: Pandora's Widget needs to be upgraded to scroll through my list of stations when its not playing)

Didn't make my top 10 list, but has potential to crack it.

1) OrbLive allows streaming and sharing from my desktop, and since I have a TV card it streams live TV to my phone. Audio is out of sync with the video though which is why it is not in my top 10 yet, but it would probably be up in the top three.
2) Google Voice might crack it when Google's Gizmo5 becomes available. I'm thinking, 'Any phone, Anytime'.
3) Rhapsody beta since I'm a Comcast customer and get to use it free, but Pandora stations are much better. Although I do get free monthly downloads from Rhapsody.

Finally, I will shout out an honorable mention for one Sprint HTC Hero specificy app that I wish would come alive soon. It is either the 'Firmware update' or 'Update firmware' one depending on your point of view!

One complaint I have is the People widget. Yea, scrolling down with that tab on the right side is fast and it's great how the first letter appears on the left side as you scroll but it would be convenient to be able to type in the first letter or two and get to your contact that way. They could also make it visually nicer)

WOW! I just looked into this app and, on paper, it sounds amazing. Going to give the lite version a try and then be more than happy to pay for it if it is as good as it sounds. Right now my wireless radio eats up roughly 30% of all the power (but I do play with the phone a lot, although in spurts).

You should look at Super Power. Has more options and works great. I used to use JuiceDefender but switched to Super Power instead.

9) KeePassDroid combined with using KeePass version 1 on my desktop since I can just copy the password file back and forth.

I also use KeePass on both my phone and my desktop, but store the password file on Dropbox, and point both apps to that location. Works beautifully. :-)

Have only had the phone a couple of weeks, and spent a week of that somewhere I couldn't use my phone much, so I'm still playing around and figuring out what I like. Others I'd add to the list as "useful, but not a daily thing" would be eBay for Android and WoW Remote Auction House (don't judge me). :P
