Top MUST HAVE apps for the S3

I will go ahead and agree with this. ROM manager is no longer needed, and usually causes more problems than it helps. I know on the galaxy S2 almost every dev would specifically say not to use ROM manager. And after recently started with the ROMs for the S3, I find no reason at all to use ROM manager

If you are a WeatherBug fan, then the new HD Widgets should be on your phone. It features WeatherBug, along with AccuWeather, and Weather Underground, as weather sources. Lots of customization possibilities.

TSF is one of those ones that I keep looking at, think it looks phenomenal, but just can't get past the price. I bet they would sell 10x+ more copies of they dropped the price to ~$5. They hurt themselves by pricing it so high.

any bluetooth mouse and keyboard usually will work without an app, ive got 4 of each in my paired devices, and all logitech, but they work

nova launcher or zeam, i just want full screen with low thrills
easytether, usb tethering, its working great for me
netflix and crackle, now both apps are still a bit buggy, and you have to uncheck "do not kill activities" in system settings/developers options all the way at the bottom, efore they start working better.

cant forget words with friends and square card reader app!

stay away from facebook app, buggy and troublsome, just use your browser or friendcaster. no task killers/battery savers, pretty much useless on this phone.

AUTOMATEIT!!! Replaced NFC tags by making ALL of my setting changes automatic. My favorite app ever. Less powerful than Tasker but 1/3 as expensive and way easier to use.

No more than the default launcher. What you have to watch for are anything extra that look for data like widgets or special launcher-only apps that update on a regular basis. I've been using Apex for a while and don't see any difference in battery consumption from stock launchers.

One of my most useful Shush! It simply works. Official Play Store description:

"When you turn your ringer off for a movie, this app turns it back on afterwards. It's activated when you silence your ringer using the volume buttons. You don't need to remember a special app! Once your ringer is off, it asks you how long to stay silent."

All you have to do is turn down the volume on the phone and it pops up a screen allowing you to select how long you want it to be silent. From as little as 15 minutes to 12 hours or to keep it off. At anytime you can turn the volume back on by the side keys or it will turn it back up to the previous volume at the end of the time you select.

I did not develop this app but I can't even imagine how it could have been made any easier to use.

Swiftkey flow, which is the swype version of Swiftkey (the best just got better), The stock Gallery app as been upgraded in 4.1.2 and its now pretty good.
