Top tip for after you have updated your rom

Go directly after seeing your home screen to the market. Aggree to the T&C and then hit my downloads the entire list of your previous programs will be there. Dont leave that screen till you have downloaded all your previous programmes.

And I was worried I'd miss somthing!

Upgrade worked a treat.

do i still have to do this even though i have backed up my data and apps with mybackup??

im downloading the update now
 
You may be better doing it the download way. Unless the apps you have have a lot of data associated with them that you don't want to lose then re downloading has advantages.
It has been reported that if you restore from backup you loose the link to the android market so are not informed of updates in future. Not tried it myself but it has been said a few times on backup threads
