Its weird, I find the earlier seasons much more interesting. I just re-watched the first few about the "glove" though -- those were great. To each their own. Anything Doctor Who related is awesome in my book heh.

Torchwood started being mentioned in the seasons of Christopher Eccleston and David Tennant being the doctors. It does take some used too to understand the plots. I love watching torchwood lol especially the toll booth part lol

Torchwood and Sarah Jane Adventures are spin-offs to doctor who too

Doctor Who is for the young people becoming teenagers
Torchwood is for the older audience, hence being shown at 9pm in the UK
Sarah Jane is for the little ones, (unfortunately dont think they be making any more of sarah jane because the lady that played her died this year) bless her
