Well I tried it and I'm having the same results as when I try Torrent-Fu. It works when I'm connected to my home WiFi but not when using mobile/3G which pretty much defeats the purpose.

Only suggestion (for both apps) would be the following:

You local IP is different than your real IP address. If you able to connect while both PC and Phone are on WiFi...you are probably using your local IP in the settings (192.168.x.xxx likely).

Find your real IP address on your PC using What Is My IP Address - Shows Your IP Address

Go into your torrent application and check which port it is using....ensure that port is open in your Router (more info at PortForward.com - Port Forwarding Guides Listed by Manufacturer and Model).

All the above should have been done on your PC.

After all of that.....go to your app on your phone....enter your real IP address and the port that you checked was open. All should work now.

Hi, I am a member of demonoid and I would like to use Torrent-FU and Demonoid together. I see there is, in settings, a place for adding search providers but I can not seem to get it to work. Could someone please explain or suggest how to get Torrent-FU to search specific sites of my choosing such as Demonoid?

Hi,

So I have Torrentfu setup nicely even with port fowarding BUT

it only works when my laptop is connected to the LAN for internet

If I go wireless or even have the wireless adapter turned on Torrentfu can no longer connect

My IP is the same for both Wireless and LAn can anyone help?

Hi All,

I'm having issues also....Ive managed to connect fine and everything works fine until i reboot my laptop and then I am unable to connect until i change the listening port on both my phone and on the torrent client on my laptop....its as if its randomising my port details (however the randomize port check box ISNT checked)

Ive posted multiple threads on here, xda and on Matt (the developers) own website and I cant get any help....

proper blagged...if anyone has any tips please shout

love this app though (at least when it works lol)

its been a LONG while since I used this app. After trying to download it on my Droid Turbo I realized it was removed from the market but not from his website!! Thanks Matt.
