I'm totally new to Android. How do I check for firmware updates?
I plugged in my Razr the other day, and it installed some Motorola program on to my PC. Seems I can sync my media with that, with Windows Media Player, or do it manually by dragging files (USB Mass Storage Option). What do you guys use?
Also, it seems Android 2.3.6 was released for Razr:
Motorola Droid RAZR and RAZR Maxx update includes Android 2.3.6 and better 4G performance | The Verge
But it's only for Verizon? So I have to wait for my carrier to release it (in Canada)? Sorry, I'm an old iphone user... I'm not used to having to wait for my carrier, phone manufacturer and OS developer to all get on board and release an update... Or maybe I'm just getting confused... lol. Occam's Razr?
