Out of the 831 mb allocated to ram, my phone is consistently hitting the 750+ mb used- making it a real slug of a thing. I know android is supposed to sort out ram use itself- I have no killer installed- but this thing is as much use as a chocolate fireguard.
If I long press home button and select the little round icon on left, it brings up ram manager amongst others. When I select CLEAR ram, it drops used ram down a bit, which then makes phone work a bit better, but it will climb back to 700+ ram used.
In Running apps in the Application area, there is no high user- or not that will make that much difference.
My next step was going to remove 1000+ pics I have in the phone, then 1200+ songs. I had taken out the SD card because phone was getting hot with it in- now stable temperature.
Any ideas please???
My 520 Lumia could wee all over this S3 in performance, touch and accuracy.
I was interested in the Note 4, but do I want another samsung, after all the crap I have had with this s3 ?????
I have just found out that all my pics were in;
cloudagent-cache-Dropbox.
What will happen if I wipe the cloudagent file to delete pics, or would it be better to put sd card back in, and have to go back to overheating again. ???
