Help Touch Screen issues

Perodically my touch screen becomes increasingly unresponsive. Only thing that seems to help is to power down & up. It might be just letting screen rest a few minutes. Any one else encounter this sort of thing?
Hardware?

Yeah, after a few weeks of runtime on a 912, the edges get semi-non-responsive.

Make sure you aren't dried up, like uber dry fingers in the desert, too. Screens become almost non-responsive in the cold.

I'm with ya, a reboot fixes the problem, but it's a reboot every few weeks... not like the damn iphone that I had to reboot every single day for many other issues.

I sometimes have screen response issues when the screen is dirty. A quick cleaning with isopropyl alcohol solves that for me.

Other times when the screen isn't dirty and doesn't respond I use the power button to lock (and turn off) the screen. After that I just press the power button again and the touch screen works alright.

It happens sometimes when it fails to boot correctly. Just reboot . . .

I've had that too.

Especially when playing games, I'll touch the screen firmly... nothing happens...it's inconsistent and semi-annoying... :(

I wrote this original thread before I installed ICS. Just realized that the problem hasn't reoccurred since I installed ICS.
ANY One else noticed that?
Jon
