Touch screen no longer responding...cracked

My lg optimus was dropped earlier today and the screen cracked. Now none of the buttons are responding except the power button so i reset it but still nothing. how can i fix this?

Just a guess, but maybe replacing the screen with a new one? Or at least the digitizer, if that's the only layer that cracked.
