TouchPad, Xoom or Galaxy Tab - Primary use as Baby Monitor / Tech Toy

Finally getting the approval from the other half to go for an andriod tablet to support a wireless ip cam (probably foscam) to primarily be used as a baby monitor, a tech toy second. Looking to keep this on the cheap, so will probably pick up a used or similar unit. Was wandering if anyone here had experience running wireless ip cam software on their TouchPad? Also would appreciate any other thoughts on the other tablets in the title of this thread, if any one can share...

As it turns out I am looking at a similar Project. I have ICS on my touchpad and the free version of Tinycam Monitor loaded.
I have a second Foscam clone arriving shortly and will get it working in my sons room.
I have already tested this via the other foscam I have in the house and it seems to work fine in basic setup.
Tinycam Monitor has an ability to set an alert for audio sounds, not just movement, so if my son (who is diasabled) calls out in the night I am looking to this setup to alert us. His room is downstairs - ours upstairs. So the Touchpad will sit next to our bed.

There is also another app in the market specifically to use as a baby monitor but not looked at it yet.

Will let you know how I get on.

Thanks, this is exactly the kind of info I am looking for...and yes, please keep me up to date on how it works out.

Latest update - new foscam clone going back, as its firmware is absolutely pants.
Getting another from a different source.

May have a play with original Foscam clone in lounge to see if I can get the audio detection working with the Touchpad this weekend.
If any of you are UK based. Don't buy the Foscam clone from 7dayshop. I wouldn't even say it was second rate. That's far too much of a complement. Hardware and firmware issues
I've had plenty of good gadgets from that shop, but this item is not one of them unfortunately.

Why not just get a genuine Foscam? They seem reasonable enough...
