Touchpal X keyboard help

Hi all,
Looking for help from anyone who is familar with Touchpal keyboard.
I love this keyboard but at times when I am typing certain words, it will change the word and add some odd characters instead of the word I want.

For instance, in this screenshot, I am trying to type "John" and "ahh" and it changes the words to what is shown. I am using the English (US) language with no mixed language input selected.

Very strange bro, just yesterday I was using it all afternoon and I didn't get anything like that. I have used it on and off as I think we all tend to change around and I have actually NEVER had anything like that happen with Touch Pal X. Maybe you have a glitchy version. I am using version 5.5.5.5 to write you this, I just checked, so you might want to try this version, it's not giving me any problems at the moment!

Have you emailed the Dev to see if it's a bug? I use it on my tablet, and haven't encountered this at all. Also, you can try either clearing the data and cache from your device's list of apps (found under the device's settings), or uninstalling it and reinstalling it

I think it's a problem with the particular font I am using. It does the same thing on the stock keyboard. Going to have to email iFont to see what the issue is.
