Help Touchscreen randomly stopped responding

Screen freeze is SNAFU for this phone it seems, sometimes it does sometimes it dont. Happens to me once in a while and then will go weeks without, then all of a sudden, it happens again. LOL Who really knows?

ROFL I'm running .174 way ahead of ya there friend, but even before I rooted my phone I noticed it on the stock software when I would play a game I have that is memory intensive.

I just reboot the phone and all is good, it's obviously a memory leak or something of that nature that causes it.

Yeah, not quite ahead, I'm on .174 too. And that situation you describe isn't really relevant to the thread. The phone locking up under heavy load sucks, but we're talking about the screen locking up under essentially no load.

I have not had a no load screen lockup since switching to .173 or higher. I hope they have solved this, though it was never called out in the change log.

When you put it that way, then No I have never had the screen freeze since day 1, only under load has it done it.
