I have an original MetroPCE ZTE Zmax that I have used since September 2015. Recently, I have noticed that the touchscreen will become unresponsive at random intervals. Sometimes, as an example, when I turn it on to enter the lockscreen it will not respond, and I usually turn it off, wipe the screen completely, and turn it on again and repeat. It can also occur when I am in the middle of using any application. The same problem occurs with and without the phone case, so it is not because of that. I am still running stock Android 4.4.4 with root.
It has become especially annoying when I receive a call and can not answer it without the same process.
Has anyone experienced a similar problem?
Any advice is appreciated.
