TouchWiz - Ok Why?

Ok, like everyone else I have waited for the TouchWiz update which I was able to get Sunday. I have found the interface to be very bright and almost cartoonish. I have no clue why they added the Apple like pop up icon tray. Does anyone know if these can even be customized? Are there any real advantages to TouchWiz? Also can it be undone?

I much prefer the brighter interface of Touchwiz... many have found that the stock Android Honeycomb interface is too dark and Samsung tried to brighten it up a bit with Touchwiz.

I think the app tray can be customized (not 100% sure about that) but I don't use it... so if you don't like it, just don't click on the arrow.

Touchwiz greatly reduced the typing lag in forums which was my biggest complaint about Honeycomb. Touchwiz also simplified the tray in the bottom-right corner and I much prefer that over the stock tray. Things like Wifi and screen brightness can be customized with 1-2 clicks as opposed to 4-5 clicks.

Finally, Touchwiz cannot be uninstalled once installed without loading a custom ROM. If you simply choose to wipe your tablet to factory defaults, it will wipe it fresh as if it was new but it will have Touchwiz.
 
Why did you even take the update? Surely you could have seen the many screenshots that we all have posted and seen that it wasn't to your liking.
 
The benefits of TW outweigh the negatives, imo. I didn't really like the color changes at first, but it doesn't bother me anymore, just takes a little getting used to. Some XDAer's are working on changing out the quick apps, I don't know what progress has been made thus far, though.
