Touchwiz vs Launcherpro - Memory consumption

[arnab_das]

Does Launcherpro perform better than Touchwiz due to lower RAM usage? Or is it the other way round? Any ideas?

Thanks.

In my experience, yes Launcher pro does perform a little better than Touchwiz. I do however like both LP and Touchwiz.

That is my experience too, but i can't say i notice any difference on my Galaxy S2. Then again, that device is powerful enough to run anything smooth.
If you are looking for smooth launchers, you should check out ADW and go launcher too There's some more, but i can't remember them
