Getting message from antivirus that towelroot is exploited and allowing vulnerabilities. Should i "ok" the fix or ignore?

All apps that root your phone allow exploits. Rooting itself is less secure. We all have to decide whether it is worth the risk knowing full well there are risks.

No remember your rooted . a locked system is now unlocked and you have full control to the system . that's the vulnerable problem your seeing if u hit fixed it wont unroot just show you the open files

I'm not sure, but I wonder if you can delete the towelroot .apk once you've used it.
I'll move this thread into the root forum also;)

Edit: moved :)

I didn't know either til I hit enter . but its done. Some of the android users may need to read about rooting before they root . some of these questions are answered in a rooting write up . but towelroot is a good thing and made things better for many like the note 3 . but thanks again for combining the threads

Brainz; this isnt my first phone to root, i understand rooting, BUT... THIS IS A TOTALLY NEW WAY OF ROOTING FOR ME. Im sure others are in the same boat. When rooting, its best to "dumb" it down from the beginning. Yes some of us need our hands held as we walk through the steps. I hope this is taken with understanding and not that im coming down on you.
Thanks to all.
