Root Towelroot on HTC One SV

I just installed and applied on my Boost HTC One SV: It worked without any issues.
Perfect & painless... Finally, I got root. :)

Did you do anything specific to make it work because i tried a few times and it wouldnt do anything it just reboots and i wouldnt have root after.

- To be honest, I think I got lucky with this, because I was trying to root my phone since i bought it last year (June-2013), but, because it was not enough info, roms, etc. for this phone, I did not go further. I was afraid of loosing my superfast Boostmobile 4G connection lol :)

- I did the Moonshine thing last year.
2014:
- Got the last official Update 4.2.2
- I unlocked my phone (HTC unlock)
- Then, thanks to ModdingmyMind I placed his modified TWRP recovery version on my phone.
- I was still thinking of rooting my phone and then, suddenly, I saw your post, got brave and downloaded the file, applied on my phone and, voila...I got root, just like that.

Thanks to you...

how did you get twrp without first having root access?

Even more so you can use TWRP to root your device ;-). Just implies a certain method for TWRP to recognize that you do not have root. Should be as simple as "wiping your cache" then clicking on restart when it is done. By that point, TWRP will pull up the SU page from the UI and notify you that your device is not rooted and ask if you would like to root it. Just swipe to root. When your phone boots back up just go to the play store to update SuperSU then open the app to update the SU binary. Done. :-)
