TPU Case - Touch Button activating on it's own!

Hey, is anyone else with a TPU case randomly having the phone pull up the options menu on any given area in the phone? It's so odd, but sometimes I feel the phone vibrate a few times and it pulls up the menu. My case is on tight and my fingers are no where near the bottom left touch button. It's like the case is somehow activating the button. It's not a huge problem, but I've noticed it a few times.
 
Its definitely not the case, my Epic Touch has been doing the same thing recently and I do not have a case on it. It is weird, all kinds of buttons appear to be getting hit and it just goes crazy for a minute or two.

I am going to do a factory reset next time it happens, if that doesn't work it will be swapped out with a new one.


I would suggest you try the same thing.
 
LOL I your comments above! It doesn't do it that often, but kinda odd. Quirky personality I guess. I'll keep an eye on it.
 
mine did the same thing thought it might hve been the zagg screen protetcor so i removed it ans still had the same problem. took it to sprint and they said they couldnt do anythig without seeing the problem it would conveniently stop everytime i got to the store.took it again the next day and bitched they gave me a new one. tried everything to get it to stop including factory reset to no avail
 
Okie guys, this is not the tpu case. First of all, yes I have the same issue with menu button self activating, and I also have tpu case, but I test it. I removed the case, it still happened and I did hard reset, and it still happens at times. Its defective hardware, and you need to get it replaced. A factory reset won't fix it.

Can feel the vibration as if your touching a button,
Sometimes 2-3 times in a row
Saw the menue come up on its own as well
Set the phone down and watched it do it without holding it
Wierd.....only done it once today
 
Is there any more news on this? My phone has started doing this. I'm rooted but running the stock kernel and it does it daily ALL of the time now.
 
Maybe this is related to the stock charger bug? Is this happening when the phone is plugged in? If not then it sounds like a bad screen or other defective hardware
