Tracker ball flashing with Chompsms/Handcent

Hi ppl!
I wud like to know if it's possible to get the tracker ball to flash when i get msgs with any of the txt msg software on the market namely chomp/handcent? I can only get it to work with the default app but not with the 3rd party software. Im a txt junkie n i think the flashing tracker ball is a great touch without turning ur fone on every time to chk.

If I remember correctly didn't Handcent have the Option in their setting to customize the Notifications such as Color of LED , Trackball etc. Have you tried looking in the settings of Chomp sms or Handcent?

there is a setting for led but no track ball setting 4 both of the softwares. Search about 2 million times already.
