Trade in my RAZR for MAXX?

So I wrote an email to Verizon over the weekend complaining that my battery on my Razr is not acceptable. Why have a 4G phone if you can't use it on a regular basis. I received a call today from someone at Verizon saying that I can trade in my phone for a new MAXX. I have to pay the $35 restocking fee and a $30 early upgrade fee. The only catch is that I basically start my 2 year contract again. I got the original RAZR back in November so I'm almost 6 months into my contract. Any advice?

Why not take them up on it? You'll get better battery life, and if that's worth $65 to you then do it. Them starting the contract again for you is water under the bridge, most people aren't leaving Verizon currently, so extending 6 more months of the same terms is no big deal.

I picked up a new razr maxx 2 weeks ago. I wanted to see if it was better than my razr.
It might be me but it seems slower when loading internet pages. It also would hang during games. I ended up taking it back after 3 days and paying the 35 dollar restocking fee. It could be it was just not the right phone. At any rate I decided to wait for the HD.
I decided that only getting better battery life When my phone is plugged in 90 percent of the time Was not really worth 700 dollars.
Just was thoughts.

I had the MAXX but replaced it for the GNex because of the screen. I sure do miss that battery though!

Wait for the HD, IMO

Yep. At this point, probably best to wait for a 4.7" hd, bigger battery and better 4g chipset- all in the same device. Sd slot too, of course.

Razr is a good bridge until then.

Not sure they'd be willing to let me exchange for the RAZR HD. I think it's more of a get the MAXX or keep the RAZR.
