trade in note 3

Is your Galaxy Note 3 broken or scratched? I'm not sure what you mean by shabby.

I was looking at an upgrade for my other contract in October and one of the things I want is a phone with the same technical specifications or higher than I am using at the moment, and at the moment I don't really think the Samsung Galaxy S5 with 2GB ram is what I'm looking for as the Note 3 has 3GB.

Ignoring technical specifications I would want something with something extra special like the camera on the Nokia Lumia 1020, but then I think to myself I could just buy a proper camera. What features does the Samsung Galaxy S5 have that someone using a Samsung Galaxy Note 3 would see as an upgrade?

I like some of the Moto X features like always listening for commands but then I think to myself I could just use Google Now or AVX without buying a phone just for one feature which I had already.
 
I've said it before and I'll say (similar) again. My dream phone would be a Note 3 (still Android of course) with a Nokia Lumia 1020 or Nokia 808 Pure View camera.

I don't see the S5 as an upgrade at all. Samsung needs to slow down, have a break and really make a new stunning device for 2016. One that would make the world stand up and notice, another phone as revolutionary as the SGSII was. If I were still an SGSIII owner I wouldn't be bowled over by the SGS5. I'd probably have one only because my two year contract was up, but other than that, nah. It is good, great even, but fantastic? Not feeling it myself.
 
I'm thinking about it but what I really have my heart set on is a Note 4 with a 6 inch screen and Snapdragon 801 processor. Anything over 6 inches would be too big. 5.1 inches would seem a little small after using the Note 3. But maybe on launch day when I can actually compare them things will look different to me.
 
I'm trying to work out how an S5 is an upgrade?

Your right the note 3 is a lil more detailed. My note is a lil banged up along with some button issues. Iam kinda feeling dust and water protection with the s5....and the fingerswipe, hey i dont no have to wait till i have it in my hand to really judge..I was wondering any else feel the same..
