Trading Rezound for Galaxy S3

Been having ongoing connectivity problems with my Rezound on the Verizon network which they finally concluded is the phone.

Will there be a noticeable difference going from the Rezound to the Galaxy S3?

Is the S3 that much better of a phone compare to the Rezound?

I've had a rezound and my wife has one now.... For signal strength, both wifi and cellular, I haven't had anything that was as strong as the rezound. That was its best quality in my opinion. The s3 in general doesn't keep as strong of a signal as the rezound, but of course that's comparing two perfectly functioning phones. Yours was obviously defective in some way, so the S3 may actually be a step up in that regard. Now, in every other aspect I can think of yes, the S3 is a better phone than the rezound in every way I have compared.

What I have been experiencing, mainly on 1 of my 2 Rezounds is a drop from 4G to 3G in an area that is strong 4G and then drop out all together. Sometime it will come back in other times it has been out for days requiring a hard reset or replacing the SIMM card, but at this point all options have been exhausted.
