Usually training is a week before so hopefully by the end of the month it will be in stores.

The 24th is Easter. They're not likely to release on a holiday

I just hope its before May 7th. Sprint is rumored to cut off the instant rebates on that day.

It's what he said. Seemed reasonable as it is a Sunday like others have said. It's only two weeks.

Yea, I'm not doubting it but I mean it just seems fixed. I guess becaues BestBuy will do the instant rebates for you and Sprint doesn't need to do it while they are.

Oh, and the May 7th kill for instant rebates is true. I had a chat with a rep earlier today. I wanted to know a few things.

I'm almost a 100% the phone will release on the 8th. We do start training on the 25th, and have had our Nexus S posters up since this past Sunday, so from previous phones in the past, it will be released on the 8th.

What does instant rebates refer to? Something Sprint is offering or something you get from Best Buy?

Im due for an upgrade so I have my Sprint upgrade money available for the next phone I buy...does that effect any instant rebate?

You know how they say most phones are 199.99 after mail in rebates, or for new customers, or if you can upgrade. Well, usually rebates have to be mailed in but Sprint did a mini promotion for a month or so where they had the rebates instant with your purchase and you didn't have to mail it in. They're cutting that off on the 7th of May.

BestBuy does it for all phones. You just pay the price strait up with rebates included. You can also use your upgrade at BestBuy. I also have an upgrade patiently waiting to be used. With the upgrade and rebate added in the phone will be 199.99. Personally I thought it was 199.99 after mail in rebates and then the additional 150.00 upgrade. But you can't imagine a phone of such specs to be an easy 50.00 lol. That would be past perfect.

My local Sprint store employees yesterday that they went through their training aready. They think the 8th as well.
