tranfer selected photos

Hi, first post so please be gentle.
I am an absolute novice and I need to know if I can select just one photo one my Samsung Galaxy Tab3 to transfer to my Toshiba Sat Pro laptop with Vista.
When I connect via the USB the Autoplay option only lets me transfer ALL the photos from my Android but I only want one.

The Autoplay dialogue should give the option to "Open device to view files", which will open an Explorer window. Simply select the required photo and drag to the desired location.
