I've read that Froyo can do this (or you can install apps there, rather than transfer already installed apps), but I don't see any setting to do so. Anyone try it?
Froyo can move some already installed apps to exeternal. You can't install to external, you have to install the app normally an d then go to settings, applications, manage applications and move it from there.
